As Jukkola Systems' revenue grew and the company planned to launch an e-commerce store to support their B2B sales, the old ERP system became a bottleneck. across Finland. In addition to products, Jukkola Systems offers lifecycle services from
installation to maintenance and from design to implementation.
As a company specialising in B2B sales, they needed a modern and scalable ERP system to
support sales and customer management. The financial management software Passeli that was
in use no longer met the needs of a growing business.
"We are also planning to launch an e-commerce store, and it would not have been practical
to integrate the old system with it," Mäkelä notes.
Refox's Agility Was Convincing
Jukkola Systems compared both smaller and larger software providers before making their
decision. Sales director Janne Mäkelä led the project and now serves as the primary
administrator of Refox ERP.
"Refox's founder Petter Lillhonga convinced us that the system would adapt to our specific
needs. Those promises have been fulfilled, and we have received the features we requested,"
Janne Mäkelä explains.

Refox ERP serves as a sales tool at Jukkola Systems. Technical attachments can be included
with quotes — documents that were previously sent as email attachments. Additionally, a
custom sales cover sheet was developed for the company's needs, where technical specifications
can be recorded.
"We have received a great deal of positive feedback about this, both internally and from
customers. People appreciate that all technical documentation is available via links rather
than being lost in emails as multiple separate files."
Refox handles Jukkola Systems' entire sales process: quotes are created, products and
warehouse are managed, and invoicing is handled within the ERP system.
Warehouse management is handled easily through Refox.
"In Refox, all information is consolidated. Creating quotes is fast and data is no longer
locked behind individual salespeople. The browser-based system can be used easily from
anywhere, and through it we can share quotes with customers via WhatsApp, for example,"
Mäkelä explains.
Jukkola Systems' sales director uses Refox's reporting tools daily to monitor sales and
project profitability, among other things.
"I can allocate all sales receivables and purchase invoices to a project, making it easy
to track the project's actual profitability," Mäkelä praises.
How Did the Onboarding Process Go?
Jukkola Systems' transition to the Refox ERP system went smoothly. It was important for the
company that all historical data could be imported into the new system without interruptions.
Other system providers were unable to offer a comparable solution, but Refox ensured that
15 years of customer and product data was successfully migrated to the new system.
"The entire onboarding process went smoothly with Refox. They listened to our needs and
ensured that all essential data was migrated to the new system. Now data management is
significantly easier and more efficient than before," Janne Mäkelä says with
satisfaction.
Refox's user interface and search functions enable faster information retrieval, which has
significantly reduced the amount of manual work.
